On Memorial Day weekend, May 28 – 31, 2021, Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club will present its first-ever Field of Honor® American Flag Display in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Field of Honor® will be a spectacular display of 500 American flags, each with a medallion honoring a special hero. Heroes can be veterans, living or deceased, active military, first responders, frontline workers, and personal heroes. The sea of red, white, and blue promises to be a powerful experience, not to be forgotten, and provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to remember and honor their many heroes.

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Organization Kzoo Parks announced Wednesday that it has launched a new Adopt-a-Park program, inviting community volunteers to “adopt” or help beautify and care for a city park. Adopting a park could include activities like planting flowers and gardening, picking up branches and litter and edging sidewalks. Kzoo Parks will provide volunteer groups with free t-shirts, trash bags for clean-up work and reimbursement of up to $100 for flowers and plants. Residents who are interested in adopting a park can learn more and sign up by visiting www.kzooparks.org/adopt or emailing kzooparks@kalamazoocity.org.
