Panel, firm join in search for Regional Partnership CEO

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership has hired executive recruiting firm Waverly Partners to assist in the search for a new CEO, officials announced Wednesday.
The economic development organization representing 11 northeast Indiana counties also announced who will serve on the eight-member search committee. The group s first tasks will include finalizing the job description and timeline. Work will begin immediately, according to a news release.
Mark Millett, CEO of Steel Dynamics Inc., will chair the committee. Additional members are: Bill Bradley, LaGrange County Economic Development Corp.; Ellen Cutter, Greater Fort Wayne Inc.; Brian Emerick, Micropulse; David Findlay, Lake City Bank; Kristin Marcuccilli, STAR Financial Bank; New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael; and Edmond O Neal, Northeast Indiana Works.

Elevate Ventures and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership on Wednesday announced a three-year renewal of Elevate Northeast Indiana. The partnership has received commitments of more than $800,000; fundraising continues with the goal of reaching $1 million.
Elevate Northeast Indiana was launched in 2017 to increase entrepreneurship and innovation across the 11-county region. Indianapolis-based Elevate Ventures and the Regional Partnership combined to raise the organization s $2.5 million budget.
Initiatives within the partnership include investments in local high-growth, high-potential businesses; events for entrepreneurs and investors; business coaching; access to professional resources and more.
Since the partnership launched, 16 transactions have been completed through various Elevate programs totaling $3.7 million. Companies receiving the investments employ about 125 workers.
