Animal Services GM Barnette Boasts LA Reached Best Friends ‘No Kill’ Goal, as Families Mourn COVID Deaths Details
ANIMAL WATCH-On March 12, LA Animal Services GM Brenda Barnette callously and boastfully announced that Los Angeles has reached the Best Friends Animal Society “No Kill” goal for the city’s animal shelters due to efforts of “the city, LA Animal Services, a coalition of animal welfare organizations, compassionate leaders and a dedicated community.”
At this same time, terrified humans all over Los Angeles clamor for vaccinations to save their own and loved ones’ lives from the deadliest disease outbreak in over a century, and many are paralyzed by the helplessness suffered from the sudden loss of one or more loved ones.
Nev Takeaways
NEV Takeaways gave us crinkle cut chips. That’s enough to plummet to the bottom of our rankings. Crinkle cut chips do not qualify as fish and chips. At best they can be passably ingested as oven chips, if all other alternatives have been passed over. There was enough grease to soak though three layers of wrapping, a sheet of A4 paper and two newspapers which we laid down on the table. There was too much batter for not enough fish, which was also extremely greasy and soggy. Unless you’re right outside and cannot wait another second to be with your hot chip (which is an understandable state of mind to be in), there’s plenty of better fish in the oil.

Pilots were run in four areas in New Zealand; Whirinaki, Mt Roskill, North East Valley, and Mangakino.

Vicki Blair raised her dead son s favourite basketball jersey to her face and inhaled its scent.
It was in a box of 32-year-old Christopher Chipper Narayan Blair s favourite items that she clutched as she made a tearful statement before the High Court at Dunedin yesterday before the man s killer was sentenced.
Luke Bradley Savigny (25) had pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was jailed for five years, seven months.
The defendant, the court heard, had never held a driver s licence and had used methamphetamine before the fatal March 21 crash outside Oamaru which flung the victim 15m from the site and almost split the car in two.
