EVANSTON, IL It s been a tough year, and while few traditions this holiday season will go on untouched by the coronavirus pandemic, here s one we can still count on seeing whether Santa Claus is en route to Evanston with a sleigh full of Christmas gifts.
It s a tried-and-true way to bring an extra spark of joy to kids this holiday season. It s also a good incentive to get the kiddos tucked in by convincing them that Rudolph s red nose is trained on your house and Santa is, in fact, on his way.

For the past 60 years, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has been tracking Santa’s flight on his mission to deliver presents to children around the world.
The official NORAD Santa Tracker simulates his flight in real time, so you can see exactly where Mr. Claus and his reindeer are during Christmas Eve.
