Homicide suspect, sex offender from Maryland, West Virginia arrested in Northeast Ohio Updated Dec 09, 2020; CLEVELAND, Ohio A man wanted in connection with a homicide in Baltimore and another man wanted in West Virginia for violating the terms of his release on a sex offense were arrested by Northeast OHio federal authorities Wednesday. According to the U.S. Marshal’s Office, Lamar Horsey, 27, was taken into custody by members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at a bus stop near Forest Hills Boulevard and Superior Avenue in East Cleveland. Authorities say Horsey ran when officers tried to take him into custody. A K9 was released and bit Horsey, who then was arrested without further incident.

Fugitive sex offender Timothy Yeigh arrested in Canton

Repository staff report A sex offender, formerly of Wooster and wanted in West Virginia, was arrested in Canton on Wednesday after threatening officers and then being rescued from a second-story window. Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Canton Area SWAT Team arrested Timothy A. Yeigh at a home in the 1400 block of Miami Ave. NE, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service. The release said Yeigh barricaded himself in the home, threatened to shoot officers and said he would blow up the home. He then tried to escape out of a second-story window and had to be rescued by officers who were surrounding the home, according to the release.
