North East Scotland College launches safeguarding platform

North East Scotland College launches safeguarding platform North East Scotland College has today launched an online platform to allow students and staff to confidentially report discrimination, harassment or violence. The Report + Support platform ensures members of the college community can raise concerns if they have been a victim of abuse or they are worried about someone else. It also contains resources to support those who have been affected by abuse. Nescol s student access and inclusion manager Zuzana Banicova said: “Everyone should feel empowered to report incidents or concerns, but that is not always the case. “By creating a safe, confidential online space we hope that it will provide the reassurance and support that will encourage more people to take that first step.”
