There wasn’t a “Star Wars” category on Wednesday’s episode of “Jeopardy!,” but viewers learned the host is partial to the film franchise’s primitive furry forest dwellers.
During his chat with contestants, guest host Aaron Rodgers asked Amy Rey, a market researcher from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, about her love of assembling elaborate Lego sets. She explained it started when her son was young and needed help putting together the Ewok village from “Return of the Jedi.”
“Oh, I love the Ewoks,” Rodgers quietly interjected, his inner “Star Wars” nerd detectable in the tone of his voice.

Local community group awards grants to help North Complex Fire recovery
The North Valley Community Foundation is providing more than $600,000 in new grants for the Bear Fire/North Complex Fire relief through the Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund.

BERRY CREEK, Calif. - The North Valley Community Foundation is extending relief to Bear Fire victims.
North Valley Community Foundation s Wildfire Relief and Recovery Fund is more than $600,000, with $125,000 for a fire prevention project in the Berry Creek area.
On Monday, water was pumped out of wells in Berry Creek for the first time since the Bear Fire.
It was a bit of a full-circle moment for Rodgers and Ferguson.
In 2015, when Rodgers competed on Celebrity Jeopardy! he wrote down Who Is Turd Ferguson for Final Jeopardy! during rehearsals. When he won that show, he tweeted after it aired: “Had a blast on @Jeopardy checking off another bucket list item. Should have said turd ferguson on final jeopardy though.
On Tuesday, Michigan s Upper Peninsula also came up in Rodgers conversation with attorney Chris Hammer, who said he was training for a 31-mile marathon there. Sadly, no shoutout from Rodgers to the U.P., the local shorthand for the region north of Wisconsin.
