Responding to pictures of revellers mixing in some parts of the country together on New Year s Eve, medics urged everyone to follow social distancing measures in order to avoid unknowingly infecting others.
The message came as one nurse revealed that resources are so stretched that a patient ran out of oxygen as hospitals struggle to cope with a surge in infections.
