A student medic told the Manchester Arena bomb inquiry how he became the clinical lead organising the treatment of casualties moments after the blast.
Ryan Billington, then 20, was praised for his heroic efforts following the May 2017 terror attack which left 22 dead and hundreds more seriously injured.
Working at nights for a medical services contractor while at university, he was on duty at the arena when suicide bomber Salman Abedi detonated a huge device in his backpack.
