WAUSAU - Marathon County will host one of four new community-based vaccination sites in the state, with plans to open mid-April, according to the county s health department. The county s health department recommended the super site be located at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, as it is easy to find, has the space and parking to support a large clinic and is on the bus route, said Judy Burrows, the health department s spokesperson. The college has been used in previous months as a drive-thru coronavirus testing site.
