Pennsylvania-based retail chain Weis Markets announced Wednesday that it would begin vaccinating patients in 55 of its in-store pharmacies starting January 21.
The supermarket chain cited Center for Disease Control guidelines and state Health Department guidance to begin vaccinating patients aged 65 or older.

State awards millions in grants in York County, including $3M to Windsor Township for a community center

Last week, 13 large projects in York County were awarded more than $14 million combined.
The grants are part of a long of list of projects across the state that were awarded money for redevelopment through the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program. The grant program is administered by the State of Pennsylvania’s Office of the Budget and is for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
Grant money has been awarded from the state through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program since 1986.
