A Mount Joy brother and sister were killed after a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided in East Petersburg on Saturday night, causing the vehicles to burst into flames, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.
A car carrier tractor trailer struck the passenger s side of a Ford ranger on Graystone Road near Main Street (Route 72) at 9:06 p.m. on Saturday, according to police. The crash caused a fire.Â
Rescue crews arrived to find driver Brandie Leigh Kasper, 21, and her brother Leonard Christian Kasper, 18, inside the pickup truck, both dead at the scene, police said. The Kaspers were identified by Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.Â

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. A 21-year-old Lititz man who died in a single-vehicle crash on April 17 had a blood alcohol level that was 8.5 times higher than the legal limit at the time of the incident, according to forensic evidence released Monday by Northern Lancaster County Regional Police.
Two people are dead after a crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor trailer in East Petersburg on Saturday night that caused the vehicles to burst into flames, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police.
The two vehicles crashed into each other at Main Street, or Route 72, and Graystone Road at 9:06 p.m., causing both vehicles to ignite, police said in a news release.
Rescue crews arrived to find two people inside the pickup truck, both dead at the scene, police said. Neither personâs name has been released to the public, though authorities say they have been presumptively identified.

A man was found dead in a car in Penn Township on early Sunday morning, and Northern Lancaster County Regional police say theyâre investigating the circumstances.
Officers were initially dispatched to the 100 block of Penn Valley Village Road off of Doe Run Road east of Manheim at 2:15 a.m. following a report of a man in cardiac arrest, according to a police news release. Officers arrived to find a middle-aged man dead inside a vehicle.
Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni said the man, whose name and age has been withheld by authorities pending notification of his next of kin, appeared to have died of a drug overdose. A decision has not been made as to whether to have an autopsy.
