The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported five new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and three resolved, all in Nipissing District.
The change brings the number of active cases up to 72 from 70 Tuesday.

There are now 69 active cases in Nipissing District, including eight people in hospital, and three active cases in Parry Sound District.
Another 316 tests were completed for a total to date of 133,317.
The health unit has reported a total of 562 cases of COVID-19 since the World Health Organization declared a pandemic in March 2020.
