But for author, coach and motivational speaker Willie Spears, Massalina was the subject of old family stories. When my grandmother was alive Hawk s youngest child, Helen I would always tell her I was going to film her talking about her famous father. I said the same to my two aunts, her sisters, Spears said. Christopher (Chris) Hoyle Nelson, age 48, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed from this earth on January 6, 2021, due to complications from Covid-19. Chris fought this extremely long and difficult battle with the heart of a warrior, and gave everything he had, including his last breath. He was passionate about protecting himself and the lives of others. He would want everyone who hears his story to carry out that same responsibility and respect, in an effort to prevent others from experiencing what he and his family endured at the hands of this wildly unpredictable virus.
