Informatica Offers Partners Faster Development Capabilities, Advanced Training

Informatica is launching several partner-focused initiatives that the cloud data management software developer says will help partners – especially systems integrators with which the vendor is allied – accelerate customers’ cloud and digital transformation efforts.
The initiatives, being announced Tuesday at the start of Informatica’s Elevate Partner Summit, include new consumption-based pricing for customers, expanded training for partners, and new low-code/no-code application development that partners can bring to their cloud application development and modernization practices.

Data cloud service provider Snowflake has invested $20 million in business analytics software developer ThoughtSpot in a move that expands on a technology alliance the two companies established nearly two years ago.
The companies announced Tuesday that Snowflake Ventures, Snowflake’s venture capital arm, has acquired an equity stake in Sunnyvale, Calif.-based ThoughtSpot with the $20 million strategic investment.

Data cloud service provider Snowflake wrapped up its first fiscal year as a public company with triple-digit growth in both product sales and overall revenue in its fiscal 2021 fourth quarter, the company said Wednesday.
Snowflake’s total customer base reached 4,139 in the quarter – including 77 customers with trailing 12-month product revenue greater than $1 million. And the company’s outlook for fiscal 2022 calls for product revenue to reach or just surpass $1 billion.

SentinelOne is interviewing bankers about an initial public offering listing that could value the endpoint security vendor at more than $10 billion, according to Bloomberg.
The IPO could happen this year, Bloomberg reported late Friday, although sources cautioned that SentinelOne’s plans are in the early stages and the IPO timing and valuation could still change. SentinelOne didn’t respond to a CRN request for comment.
