Officials announce change in travel rules for vaccinated people, guidance for long-term care facilities
Governor Phil Scott said at Friday’s press conference that fully vaccinated people who travel to and from Vermont will no longer need to quarantine, effective Feb. 23.
Travelers must be able to prove they have been fully vaccinated, he said. Fully vaccinated means it’s been at least two weeks since your final dose.
Governor Scott acknowledged there are many areas that will be impacted and questions to be answered.

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Department of Taxes on Thursday mailed 1099-G forms to 21,000 taxpayers that detail potentially taxable state refunds or taxable grants. These forms are issued annually at the end of January to taxpayers who itemized deductions and received a Vermont income tax refund.
This year, taxpayers who received an Economic Recovery Grant from the Department of Taxes should also expect to receive a 1099-G through the U.S. postal service. These forms should be used by taxpayers when filing their upcoming Federal and Vermont income tax returns.

While we can swim and fish in most of Vermont’s waters, some are impacted by water pollution. For example, excess phosphorus in Lake Champlain fuels potentially toxic cyanobacteria blooms in some parts of the lake. The State of Vermont funds clean water projects to prevent and reduce nutrient and sediment pollution and restore and protect water quality statewide.
