Manos Gallery seeking entries for child’s art exhibit
The Manos Gallery, 320 E. Fifth Ave., Tarentum, is accepting entries from children age 5 to 18 for a juried art exhibit.
The gallery will select a young artist to who has a passion for the arts and would like to showcase their works in a three-day juried art exhibit. Artwork should be no larger than 16 x 20 inches, and of any medium, such as painting, sculpture or photography. Only one piece may be submitted. Entries will be divided into age groups: 5 to 10, 11 to 15 and 16 to 18. Photographs of the artwork should be emailed to manosgallery@yahoo.com by April 30.

Drive-through food distribution set at Lernerville Speedway
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for anyone in need from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road, Buffalo Township. No cars are permitted to arrive before 11 a.m.
Reservations are required to ensure enough food is available and they fill up quickly. To make a reservation, visit pittsburghfoodbank.org/drive-up/butler/ or call 412-460-3663, ext. 655. Have your license plate number of the car you will be in at the event, name, email, zip code, date of birth and current weekly income on hand. Bring your confirmation page or email for your reservation to the event. There is no required proof of eligibility and anyone is eligible for food.

Knead Community Café accepting donations
Knead Community Café, New Kensington, is accepting donations to help the daily operation of the café, 1011 Barnes St.
Items on the café’s wish list include white premium napkins, Clorox wipes, disposable latex or nitrile gloves size large or extra-large, , 6x6-inch or 9x9-inch single compartment Styrofoam hinged takeout containers, foil sheet wraps, instant iced tea mix with lemon and sugar, Tide or Gain laundry powdered detergent and Sam’s Club gift cards.
