Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visits former Indian skipper and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly at Apollo hospitals.
After undergoing angioplasty two more stents were implanted to clear his clogged coronary arteries.
Confirming that the stents were implanted, the hospital officials also mentioned that under the monitoring of cardiac surgeon Devi Shetty and Aftab Khan, the 48-year-old Ganguly is âstableâ.
âEarlier this day after several medical tests and angioplasty, it was decided to implant two other stents to clear Gangulyâs coronary arteries,â mentioned the officials.

Ganguly came for checkup of cardiac condition, his vital parameters stable: Hospital
Kolkata : Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly went for a checkup of his cardiac situation on Wednesday and his vital parameters are stable, said the medical bulletin issued by Apollo Gleneagles Hospital.
“Sourav Ganguly, 48 years old, male has come for a checkup of his cardiac condition. There is no change in his parameters since his last hospitalisation and his vital parameters are stable,” said the bulletin.
Ganguly headed to the Apollo Hospital here on Wednesday weeks after undergoing a successful angioplasty. Sources close to the former India skipper had said that there was nothing to worry about and it is a routine visit.

His condition is stable now, doctors said. Sourav Ganguly, 48, has come for a checkup of his cardiac condition.
