Vietjet listing honored as “The IPO Deal of the Year 2017”

Vietjet’s public listing in the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in February has been honored as “The IPO Deal of the Year 2017” and “The Company with Best M&A Information Disclosure” at the M&A Awards 2016-2017. As a highlight of the Vietnam M&A Forum 2017, the awards were adjudicated by a panel of independent and renowned M&A experts through nominations by consultation organizations and researchers.
Leading “a series of successful deals” in 2016-2017, Vietjet was highly rated by the panel which named the Vietjet listing as “The IPO Deal of the Year 2017” and “The Company with Best M&A Information Disclosure”. Vietjet’s IPO was professionally conducted following consultations with world-renowned law firms and financial institutions in around 800 days (due on the listing date) in accordance with international IPO standards of Regulation S.

LAHORE : LUMS has won the global Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Platinum Award 2021 in the ‘Best Practices in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ category for its National Outreach Programme (NOP).
According to a press release issued here on Friday, LUMS was selected from among nearly 300 entries submitted from across the world for the eight award categories. LUMS represented the Asia-Pacific region in the international round of this competition, as it was selected as a regional finalist earlier this year. The CASE Platinum Awards recognise the world-class programmes and practices in educational advancement. Speaking about this achievement, Founding Pro-Chancellor, LUMS, Syed Babar Ali said, “It is a moment of great pride for us and we feel immensely gratified for this recognition”.

Operation Support Our Troops-America, a Naperville-based nonprofit, has announced their upcoming fundraiser, Over the Edge.
According to Executive Director Scott Maxson, Over the Edge is an exciting way to come together as a community, bring awareness to our mission and raise funds to continue to support those who sacrifice so much for our freedom. On Sept. 11, Operation Support Our Troops -America, will bring this exciting event to the Hotel Arista in Naperville. Partnering with Over the Edge Global, OSOT-America and its participants will be rappelling down the side of the hotel to raise funds and awareness for our mission.
Along with rappelling there will be food, music, interactive displays and in general a day to honor our military and their families. Proceeds allow Operation Support Our Troops-America to continue serving more veterans and military families through the active duty, veteran and Families of the Fallen programs.
