So I ve created this topic to see if this is an issue that s affected anyone else recently as I cannot see any new articles on the subject.
I have owned my PS5 since launch and it has been in daily use since .
My PS5 controller for no obvious reason is no longer responding at all. It pairs and activates the PS5 but then I receive an error message saying Wireless Controller disconnected and in the few times I have got into my profile the controller is no longer retaining any charge.
I have tried every single troubleshooting step (front/back USB port), different device cables, trying to charge it on another product and the controller fails to respond or show any signs of taking charge which leads me to believe my controller battery is defective or has lost the ability to retain the battery charge.
