Knepper bringing historic changes to downtown Sault The Sault News Justin Knepper started Knepper Development Strategies, a Sault-based consulting firm, in September 2020 after working for the Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Development Authority over the past decade.  Knepper identified a need for hands-on business, non-profit and local government support due to the substantial growth opportunities being generated by the Soo Locks project.  “Knepper Development Strategies is focused on providing a diverse range of full service support to clients, including business consulting with experience in marketing, buy-outs and more,” said Knepper. “(More services include) grant-writing and administration for businesses, nonprofits and local government agencies; fundraising campaigns for non-profit capital projects; and high quality planning and design services provided in partnership with another local firm, Antares Design of Detour Village.”
