That landmark bill created a national network of advanced manufacturing hubs, and was one of the biggest steps we’d taken as a country in a long time to make our manufacturing industry more competitive. America Makes in Youngstown started as a pilot program in 2012, and became the first hub in that network.

On Tuesday, President Biden held a press conference to update his administrations COVID-19 response as well as taking reporter questions.
LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Department of Education announced on Tuesday that it is offering more than $36 billion in emergency grants provided by the American Rescue Plan to educational institutions negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The agency said the grants will help more than 5,000 higher education institutions, including Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU), Tribal Colleges & Universities (TCU) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI).
