HBCU Pigskin Showdown to be played in Selma in 2021 By Stephen Gunter | December 17, 2020 at 9:50 PM CST - Updated January 14 at 11:13 PM
SELMA, Ala. (WSFA) - There is a new college football postseason game for HBCU players on the way to Selma in 2021.
It’s the HBCU Pigskin Showdown and it will give draft eligible players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities a chance to workout and play in an all-star game setting in front of professional scouts.
Chris Williams and Bryant Grove, two former professional coaches, are co-founders of the game.
The district-run school will be modeled after Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and will be called The Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy in honor of Black American investor, inventor, engineer, philanthropist and entrepreneur.

So I m imagining and believing that it will impact the rich assets that are already existing in the Montbello community.
