ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh has been given additional charge of the Revenue Division on Monday.
According to a notification issued on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday assigned the additional portfolio of Revenue Division to Minister of Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh with immediate effect.
On December 10, President Dr. Arif Alvi administered the oath to Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh at a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Shaikh was previously serving as an Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance. He had been handed the portfolio of the finance ministry.

The prime minister picked Azam Khan Swati, who was serving as the minister of counter-narcotics, to replace Rashid as the railways minister, while Rashid’s predecessor at the interior ministry, Brig (retd) Ijaz Ahmed Shah, was given the narcotics control ministry, vacated by Swati.

ISLAMABAD (APP) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said that Pakistan has achieved important milestones in transparency and exchange of information.
Addressing the Plenary Meeting of the Global Forum on “Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes 2020”, organized by OECD, the adviser appreciated the technical support extended by the Global Forum and the UK Government, which he said was instrumental in implementing the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
