This is the current list of closures and delays that we ve got:
Benton Franklin Head Start: Closed but operating remotely. Tuesday food distribution is postponed until Thursday. Please check Class DoJo for new meal pick up times.
Athena-Weston SD: In-Person Instruction Closed
Christ the King Parish/School: Closed but operating remotely, No preschool. In order to allow adequate time for snow removal and de-icing. K-8 will transition to virtual instruction for Tuesday, February 16th.

Despite most Portland-area students attending school from home, several school districts have announced closures that impact limited in-person learning and other services. What follows is a list of closure announcements that OPB is aware of.
Gresham-Barlow School District All after-school activities are canceled Thursday evening through the weekend.
Portland Public Schools All PPS buildings closed Thursday. All school-based activities are canceled including Limited In-Person Instruction (LIPI), child care and athletics.
Reynolds School District Online distance learning continues. Thursday and Friday, all school-based activities including meal distribution, supplies pickups, athletics, etc. are canceled.
Riverdale School District Distance learning continues. All school-based activities are canceled including Limited In-Person Instruction (LIPI) and athletics.
Portland Public Schools:
In the latest update from the school board, it said that it has expanded in-person learning opportunities but has not yet started hybrid learning for all K-5 students as it had intended.
In January, PPS chief of schools Dr. Shawn Bird spoke on the moves PPS was making to try and make hybrid learning possible. It hopes to begin the transition in April.
“School administrators have been identifying the students that are eligible, and they’re reaching out to families individually, making sure that families understand this is optional and we want to make sure they feel safe,” he said.
Redmond School District pushes back reopening nearly 3 weeks, to Feb. 22

Redmond cites rising cases, more students, staff sick or in quarantine
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) A rise in Deschutes County COVID-19 cases and a growing number of Redmond School District staff and students sick or in quarantine will push back the planned reopening nearly three weeks, to Feb. 22, Superintendent Charan Cline announced Friday.
However, Bend-La Pine Schools phased-in reopening plans remain unchanged at this time, spokeswoman Alandra Johnson said late Friday afternoon The district continues to monitor the data and will provide an update at Tuesday s board meeting, she told NewsChannel 21.
