Radunz sat out his first year as a redshirt and went down with a season-ending ACL injury in the first game of his second season. In 2018, Radunz started all 15 games at left tackle and ended the season named to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference second team. That season, ND State had the top rushing attack in the MVFC. Radunz took the leap into elite play in 2019, starting all 16 games for the Bison and was eventually named a consensus first team All-American by the Associated Press. He graduated in December 2020 with a degree in industrial engineering.
