VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. Police have filed a criminal charge against a man who allegedly set an apartment complex on fire in Virginia Beach on Saturday night.
The Virginia Beach Police Department was called on Saturday, Jan. 2 around 11:12 p.m. about gunshots that were heard in the 300 block of Cedarwood Court. Right after the initial call, police said another report came in about a possible apartment fire at the same location.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police is investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man injured Sunday afternoon.
Officials say they received multiple calls came in regarding the shooting around 2:34 p.m. in the 5900 block of Blackpoole Lane. Officials then received another call for a man suffering from gunshot wound in the 5800 block of Roxbury Place.
According to the investigation, someone shot at a man from another vehicle and he was hit by a round on Blackpole Lane. The man then fled to a safer location on Roxbury Place where police arrived. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
