“This country was wrought by people who lived on the land, and by people who lived off the sea,” says the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts on Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) MFA in Design alumna, as she explains the concept behind ‘Synergy’ an exhibition organized and curated by Derouiche, and by Tariq Al Jaidah who founded the Eiwan gallery in Al Gassar Resort where the display is on show until the January 23 – with the vision of developing the art production landscape in Qatar.

JDR Clinical & Translational Research (JDR CTR), examined the short-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on dental hygiene and dental students career intentions.
An anonymous online survey was emailed to dental and dental hygiene students enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Richmond, USA.
The survey consisted of 81 questions that covered a wide range of topics including demographics, anticipated educational debt, career plans post-graduation, readiness to enter clinical practice or residency, and student wellness.

RICHMOND Governor Ralph Northam today announced the leadership and members of a new advisory committee charged with making recommendations on culturally relevant and inclusive education practices in Virginia’s public schools.
The Culturally Relevant and Inclusive Education Practices Advisory Committee, which will hold its first meeting today, Wednesday, January 6, was established under House Bill 916, sponsored by Delegate Mark D. Sickles, and Senate Bill 853, sponsored by Senator Jennifer Boysko during the 2020 General Assembly session.
The legislation directed the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) to select the committee’s members, and tasked the advisory panel with reporting its recommendations to Governor Northam, the Board of Education, and the Chairs of the House Committee on Education and Senate Committee on Educat
