Gina Raimondo is out of coronavirus quarantine. The governor tested negative each day of her self-isolation and was cleared to return to the public on Friday, she said. Raimondo went into quarantine Saturday after Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott, the director of the Rhode Island Department of Health, tested positive for coronavirus. Alexander-Scott s case was asymptomatic and found through routine surveillance testing. On Friday, Raimondo said Alexander-Scott is still self-isolating at home, and has not developed any symptoms.
