.-Sothebys will open their 2021 live auctions of Contemporary art with Contemporary Curated on 12 March in New York. This season, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning actress, singer and producer, Cynthia Erivo, will lend her sharp, unique eye to select 16 of her favorite works from the 130+ lots on offer. In support of Erivos role this season, Sothebys will contribute a donation to The Loveland Foundation a cause close to Erivos heart, which is committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls. The Color Purple, Harriet) has penned her first book for young readers, Remember to Dream, Ebere, which will be published in hardcover from Little, Brown Books for Young Readers September 28.
The picture book, illustrated by Charnelle Pinkney Barlow, is a tale of a mother and child and the dreams they build together. When Ebere s mother puts her to bed at night, she always says, Remember to dream, Ebere. And dream, she does, imagining herself as the captain of a rocket ship with the ability to go anywhere in the universe.

Spotify maintained its Primary Position as the Worlds No1 Streaming Source
New York – February 19, 2021 – At the end of September 2019, Spotify has announced that it had 113m subscribers and 248m total Monthly Active Users (MAUs) worldwide.
The figure was up 5m on the previous highest total of 108 m total that the Service hit in June 2019
“The interesting factor to be aware of it would appear,” said Music Industry Analyst Donald Malter, “is that the average paying Spotify subscriber across the world (ARPU) in Q3 2019 paid €4.67, down 1% YoY, but actually down 3% excluding the impact from foreign exchange rates.”
Donald Malter went on to quote Industry sources as saying “Spotify’s global Q3 Monthly Active User count (248m) was up 30% year-on-year, and up by 16m people quarter-on-quarter.
