David A. Carlyle, 62, of Orange, died on Thursday, according to Timothy Connolly, spokesman for the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office. The death is not suspicious, Connolly said.
Carlyle, a school psychologist in Templeton and Athol, graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in Northboro, according to his obituary.
His death remains under investigation by the state police, according to Narragansett Regional School District Superintendent Chris Casavant.
In a letter sent out to the community last week, Casavant revealed that a member of the school’s psychology team had died at the school.

The father of a man who suffered multiple mental disorders and died in an encounter with police three years ago is suing the city of Leominster, claiming authorities used unreasonable and lethal force on his son.
55-year-old Wendy Hibbard, struck, killed by car in Oxford as she attempted to cross Main Street

Authorities identified the woman as Wendy Hibbard of Oxford.
Oxford police responded to a crash at Main Street and Fairlawn Avenue at around 7:15 p.m., authorities said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Hibbard appeared to be crossing Main Street when she was hit by a car.
No charges have been filed, authorities said. The name of the driver was not released.
The crash remains under investigation by Oxford Police, the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council reconstruction team and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
