Syracuse Mets announce return with release of 2021 season schedule
The Syracuse Mets will play a 142-game regular season this summer beginning on April 6 and with games only against divisional opponents.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After a one-year hiatus thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the Syracuse Mets are returning to action this summer, announcing its 2021 season schedule, Thursday.
The Mets will open up play on April 6 at the Lehigh Valley IronPigs before returning to NBT Bank Stadium for its home opener on April 13 against the Buffalo Bisons.
It will be a 142-game regular season, up from 140 games the previous two seasons, and Syracuse will only play its divisional opponents.

When the Wings take the field in Rochester on April 13, it will mark 589 days between home games at Frontier Field.

Rodenhiser Home Services, providing plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical and remodeling services to communities in Massachusetts, announced on Thursday details of its founding partner agreement with the Worcester Red Sox.
The agreement makes Rodenhiser Home Services a prominent sponsor of the organization with signage appearing on the Worcester Wall in right field, an entrance gate and in the hospitality area.
Beyond signage, the company will sponsor the presentation of the game ball, which allows a fan to deliver the the ball to the pitcher’s mound before each game.

A couple dozen baseball players, who are expected to take the field at Polar Park in less than three months, draw the most attention with the arrival of the Worcester Red Sox. But beyond the diamond, the organization still needs to assemble a small army that will deliver the day-to-day ballpark experience for fans.
WORCESTER The Worcester Redevelopment Authority Friday authorized its chairman to execute a lease agreement with the Worcester Red Sox.
The 3-0 vote will allow one of the last pieces of the deal between the team and the city to bring the top minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox to Polar Park, the city-owned ballpark under construction in the Canal District, to fall into place.
Earlier this week, the City Council voted to advertise a loan order to partially cover $17 million in overruns on the ballpark project. The city is handling the financing on the overruns for the team, but the team is responsible for them. In return for the financing, the team agreed to renegotiate several items in the finalized lease agreement, including an extension of the lease for use of the ballpark from 30 to 35 years; an extension of the team s commitment not to relocate from 15 to 25 years; the removal of sponsorship guarantees on the part of the city; and a bigger cut of advertising rev
