Hassan Mohammed appeared before magistrates in Worcester where he pleaded not guilty to three offences following an incident in Teme Road, Worcester. The 28-year-old of Winchcombe Drive, Warndon, Worcester denied possession of an offensive weapon, assault by beating and a section four public order offence, all of which are alleged to have occurred on June 23 last year. Karen Wright, prosecuting, said: There’s an issue with regard to parking a car and an argument between people in the street and it’s said that the defendant went to get the hammer out of a black Mercedes vehicle, pulled it out of the boot and said ‘I’m going to kill you!’”

Tanika Attwood from Worcester is now banned from a city street as part of her bail conditions and pleaded guilty to the offence at Worcester Crown Court. The 20-year-old, now living in Avon Road, Kidderminster, sent the threatening communication between November 19 and December 5 last year. However, the mother denied sending another similar communication to a different complainant between the same dates, criminal damage to a Seat Leon car on December 4 last year and affray, also alleged to have taken place on December 4 last year.

AN Anti-Semitic Worcester pensioner who compared the BBC to ‘Nazis’ and ranted at ‘idiot’ city police has been spared jail. BBC-bothering James Evans, who has mental health issues, had already been served with a restraining order which prohibited him from contacting BBC Hereford and Worcester in Hylton Road and the city’s MP, Robin Walker. However, he began breaching the order yet again from April 8 last year, sending BBC Hereford and Worcester nearly 200 letters. When arrested he described police as ‘helpless idiots’. The 74-year-old of Bath Road, Worcester already had five convictions for breaching the order when he appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday.
COURT: Dean Allen was sentenced at Worcester Magistrates Court A MAN has been jailed after admitting two assaults including one involving a weapon. Dean Allen, of Hopyard Coppice, Worcester, admitted the assault of a woman occasioning her actual bodily harm in an incident that took place on June 12 at a city address. And on the same date, and also in Worcester, he assaulted another person by beating them. We previously reported he had admitted the assault of the woman, but Allen had pleaded not guilty to the second assault on October 1. Allen changed his plea to guilty to the second charge when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on November 27.
