THERE were no new Covid-related deaths recorded at Worcestershire s hospitals on the day where just one fatality was registered nationally. The zero figure from the latest NHS England daily figures (Monday, April 19) means the number of deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust remains at 804 and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust’s total stays at 63. In total, there have been 867 Covid-19 deaths in county hospitals and at least 1,344 in all settings. The only person to be registered as dying after testing Covid-19 was in north west Anglia, bringing to 86,742 the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England.
