Fullback Anthony Sherman is due to become an unrestricted free agent for the fourth offseason in a row when the new league year begins on March 17. And for the fourth offseason in a row Sherman would like to remain a Kansas City Chief.
“My mindset I’ve kind of done this the last three or four years, what I deserve is completely different than what I want,” he explained in an appearance on
NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” on Friday. “I will probably do whatever I can to get back to Kansas City just because I want rings. And in Kansas City, that’s where you’re going to get them. So I definitely want to go back to the Chiefs and be a part of that team.”

Good Morning Football on Friday and said unequivocally he s confident in his quarterback. Kirk s our guy, Zimmer said. You know, he had a terrific year this year. We were fourth in the league on offense. We have to get better on defense we had a lot of injuries and young guys that s my job to get it fixed.

While the wait for Drew Brees to announce his future intentions continues, the New Orleans Saints must prepare as if the future Hall of Famer will walk away, leaving an opening at the QB position.
Taysom Hill remains under contract, but the Saints are likely to add a more traditional veteran passer as well.

The 2021 offseason could be historic in terms of quarterback turnover throughout the league. We ve already seen one blockbuster QB trade with Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff swapping teams. Expect more rumbling down the pike as we drive toward free agency.
One team consistently remaining in the Quarterback Rumor Mill is the San Francisco 49ers. With Jimmy Garoppolo missing 10 games in 2020, the thought process follows that the Niners could look to upgrade the position to get back to the postseason.

It s a great thing as always, it s a blessing. I m on track. And I m going to be ready for camp.
