Democratic lawmakers said they also expect the $852 million in federal housing aid to Pennsylvania, which was passed in the second stimulus package last month, to be distributed more smoothly this time.

Pennsylvania Victim Advocate Jennifer Storm on Friday sent her resignation to Gov. Tom Wolf after facing Senate opposition for months.
Wolf nominated Storm for a second six-year term about a year ago, but the Republican-controlled Senate voted against her in November.
Storm called it a political witch hunt in her resignation letter.
“I came into the role as Commonwealth Victim Advocate knowing the political realities of the position, and I did so with fidelity and determination,” Storm said.
“I leave the office knowing that I have served crime victims and survivors - and the office - well and with uncompromising courage.”
Grove asked Boockvar to share the guidance that was sent to counties with House Republicans, and she told him to file a Right to Know request.
Republicans said it s important for that information to be made available to the public for the sake of transparency and understanding, which build trust with Pennsylvania voters. If they don t trust the process, they won t trust the results, said state Rep. Dawn Keefer, a Republican from York County.
Hours before she testified, Boockvar said the Pennsylvania election was transparent. It s time for truth, she said in a statement. The ongoing assault against facts & our democratic process must end it goes against everything we stand for in this country. Our counties ran a secure & exceptionally transparent election & the people have spoken.
