NEW DELHI - Caving under increasing public criticism for failing to act and help India fight a devastating second Covid-19 wave, the United States rolled out a series of belated supportive measures, including sending over raw material required for the production of Covid-19 vaccines in India. A White House readout of a phone call on Monday (April 26) between US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the US has begun providing a range of emergency assistance, including oxygen-related supplies, vaccine materials, and therapeutics.
