Even as the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has been urged to suspend its recent decision allowing minors from five to 17 years old in outdoor areas due to the threat of the more virulent Delta variant of the coronavirus (COVID-19), minors who are accompanied by adults continue to go out of their homes in many parts of Rizal Province which is under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) classification.

Roque did not elaborate, but he could be referring to the policy prohibiting children aged 5 years to 17 from going outdoors.
