Feb headliners, part II: 51 upcoming events/webinars happening across our state

Here’s our exclusive wrapup of upcoming events happening across North Carolina in February. Included are the latest meetups, conferences, workshops, application deadlines and networking events happening in Asheville, Charlotte, the Triad, Wilmington and other parts of the state. This post is part of our weekly column of upcoming events, along with our comprehensive resource guide for startups in the Triangle. Feb headliners, part I: 68 events & program deadlines coming up in Triangle

WRAL TechWire keeps tabs on the latest and greatest meetups, panels, workshops, conferences, application deadlines and all things happening in the North Carolina startup/tech world. “The Headliners” is a multi-part weekly roundup of upcoming events to add to your calendar. Following is a list of February events in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle area. Zimbabwe Lockdown: Day 305 - WCoZ Situation Report – Kubatana net

305 days of the COVID-19 Lockdown, and as of 27 January 2020, the Ministry of Health and Child Care reported that the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases increased to 32 304 after 300 new cases were reported All are local cases, of which the highest case tally was recorded in Harare at 104. We note that the hospitalisation rate on the 27 th  January 2021 went down to 205 hospitalised cases, 127 mild to moderate cases, 65 severe cases and 13 cases in Intensive Care Units. Active cases went up to 7 495. The total number of recoveries went up to 23 687 following 274 recoveries. The recovery rate stands at 73.2%. The death toll has risen to 1 122 after 19 new deaths were recorded. 

On the horizon: Previewing 66 events, webinars and deadlines across NC in February

Keeping up with WRAL TechWire’s ongoing initiative to track events happening across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in February: February 1 The NC IDEA Foundation is offering two grant opportunities for startups this season: NC IDEA MICRO provides $10,000 project-based grants to entrepreneurs looking to validate and advance their ideas. NC IDEA SEED provides $50,000 grants to early-stage companies, giving them the boost they need to scale faster. Applications for the spring 2021 cycle open on Feb. 1 and close on March 1. February 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (online) Flywheel is hosting a five-week educational program covering management and operations for startup founders and C-suite employees. The course is tailored toward startups that have raised funding and are ready to scale their business operations.
