Our sun is going into hibernation and that means more temperature drops

Each sunspot cycle has been getting less intense. This means temperature drops… And right now, the weather is following this trend. (Article republished from StrangeSounds.org) Comparison between solar maximum and solar minimum. Picture: NASAJust a few days ago, I discussed the space weather forecast of several scientists for solar cycle 25. While some very big solar storms have already taken place, the new cycle is week in overall. Meanwhile, dozens of cold records were broken or shattered on Saturday across Northeast US. New freezing temperature records in northeastern US in May 2021. More data here As shown in previous articles, freezing cold temperatures in April and May 2021 were responsible for damage or total destruction of crops, fruits and vegetables as well as harvest delays in Europe.

Solar Geoengineering can Mitigate Effects of Global Warming on Rainfed Crops

Solar Geoengineering can Mitigate Effects of Global Warming on Rainfed Crops Written by AZoCleantechMay 21 2021 Solar geoengineering, which means releasing aerosols into the air to reflect solar light and cut down global warming, is not a complete solution for climate change but it might be one of many tools to control climate risks. Image Credit: shutterstock.com/oticki The potential of solar geoengineering to decrease physical climate changes was investigated by a growing body of research. However, not much less is known about the potential effect of solar geoengineering on the ecosystem and, specifically, agriculture. A study performed by the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) has now discovered that solar geoengineering could be amazingly effective in mitigating some of the worst effects of global warming on crops.
