Talladega man charged in December fatal shooting Share Updated: 5:48 PM CST Jan 8, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital Share Updated: 5:48 PM CST Jan 8, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital A 19-year-old Talladega man has been arrested and charged in a fatal shooting last month.The Etowah County Sheriff s Office reports Jarell Dishon King is charged with Capital Murder and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle.The investigation began after Cornell James, 26, was shot and killed in his vehicle at a convenience store in Munford December 5th, says the ECSO.King was located and taken into custody on Alabama Avenue in Gadsden by the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit.The Talladega County Sheriff s Office, along with the U.S. Marshal Service and Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force were involved in the fugitive investigation.The ECSO says King is now in the Talladega County Jail.

COVINGTON, Tenn. U.S. Marshals Service is requesting information that could assist in the capture of Terrance Sharell Taylor who is wanted for First Degree Murder in Covington, TN.
On December 28, 2020, a warrant for the arrest of Taylor for First Degree Murder was issued out of Tipton County. On December 29, this fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
The Marshals Service is offering up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest of Taylor. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $2,500. Taylor is on the TBI Most Wanted List.

A 26-year-old suspect is behind bars, charged in the slaying of a teen in Tarrant Sunday night.
Tarrant police have charged LiHerman John Hayes with capital murder in the killing of Cevon Deshun Gibbs. He was taken into custody about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday by the U.S. Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Marshals found Hayes, of Birmingham, hiding in the crawl space under a home in the 2900 block of Avenue H. He was arrested without incident and then transported to Tarrant police headquarters for questioning.
One of the suspects in a Killeen shooting on Dec. 6 has been arrested.
Zaveon Hakhem Cummings, 18, was located and arrested by members of the US Marshals Service â Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force at a residence in Tomball, according to a Killeen Police Department news release.
Cummings and Emilio Terrazas, 19, both from Killeen, are suspects in the Dec. 6 shooting that injured a victim in the 2100 block of W.S. Young Drive.
Terrazas, who is still at large and considered armed and dangerous, is also a person of interest in the Sunday shooting on Alma Drive, which injured three, according to the release.
