The health centre launched a 50/50 draw in November to help raise much-needed funds for the hospital.
Tammy Morrison, president and CEO of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, says the first 50/50 draw was $14,000 and has since grown into a $124,375 jackpot for Brendon Fisher, who won the March prize.

Hospitals in Northern Ontario, including the North Bay Regional Health Centre, are not being forced to âramp downâ elective surgeries and non-emergency activities due to extreme pressure from positive COVID-19 patients.
Kim McElroy, communications officer for the health centre, said at this time, the North is not faced with the same situation as what is happening in other areas of the province.

âHowever, it has been communicated that hospitals in our region should be prepared to ramp down quickly, in the near future, if requested to do so,â she told The Nugget Friday.
