A group of more than a hundred people attended, members of which viewed and added to a memorial, wore blue t-shirts memorializing Delgado, and provided food, clothing and other necessities to those in need. As expected, the Oregon attorney general and the Multnomah County district attorney announced Thursday that they will jointly investigate this month’s fatal shooting of Robert Delgado by a Portland police officer in Lents Park.

(KTVZ) Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum praised the Oregon House Wednesday for unanimously passing HB 3284, a bill she proposed to protect personal health data related to COVID-19. The bill applies to any commercial website, private entity, or mobile “contact tracing” or exposure notification app that collects, uses or discloses information about a person’s exposure to or infection by COVID-19. Vigil held in Lents Park for man killed by a Portland police officer The family of Robert Delgado is calling for Oregon s attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the shooting. A vigil was held at Lents Park in Southeast Portland Friday evening for the man who was shot and killed by police there last week.  Delgado s children addressed the crowd that gathered, sharing fond memories of their father and talking about his struggle with mental illness. The day of the vigil, Robert Delgado s family told reporters that the 46-year-old was having a mental health crisis when he was killed, and they don t believe police handled it appropriately.
