Attorney General Dale Marshall is calling on all Barbadians to join the fight against gun crime in Barbados.
Marshall made the call in a statement on the killing of Sgt. Newton Lewis.
“We all have a stake in this, and we all must do more. Join us in this fight against gun crime. If you see something, say something,” Marshall said.
The AG said Sergeant Newton Lewis “died a hero last night.”
He was off duty at the time, but that meant nothing to him because, in his own words, “a police officer is always on duty”.
