Northwest Arkansas is preparing for a funeral procession and service to honor fallen Pea Ridge Officer Kevin Apple. Here s what you need to know:Who was Apple?Officer Kevin Apple was a 23-year-old veteran of the force. People who knew him have described his sense of humor and the way he spent his life helping people across the community. Apple was killed last week at a gas station in Pea Ridge while helping to investigate a property crime.When does the procession begin?The procession will begin at about 10 a.m. Friday at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. That s on Central Ave., near Old High Middle School.What is the procession route?We ve made a map of the route. Follow this link to view it if it does not appear below.After the procession leaves the funeral home, it will go east on Highway 72.
