I was excited to open this email this morning to find someone has gifted me $8.5 Million dollars. Unfortunately, she s been doing this scam and emailing random people for quite a while, darn. If only it were that easy. BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS! Important tips.
As you can see I just received this email in the overnight hours of Sunday. I decided to investigate and I have found that this same email had been circulating since October of 2020.

“We saw early-on offers to sell PPE to hospitals and healthcare systems at exorbitant prices. I mean millions of dollars,” Tong said.
Tong said existing statutes hindered the state s ability to crack down on those who were trying to take advantage of the shortages of PPE and essential items. We are talking about massive price increases on essential and life-saving items like masks, sanitizer and even toilet paper. It became clear early on that the existing price-gouging statute was severely limited and did not adequately protect families and businesses, Tong said in part.
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center said it had to lock in a two-year contract for gowns at $410 per week and Hartford HealthCare said it spent seven times the normal amount on PPE in 2020 compared to 2019.

STONINGTON, CT A Stonington student was sworn in to serve in the Connecticut Kid Governor s cabinet at a ceremony Friday, according to a statement. Claire Li, a fifth-grader at West Vine School in Stonington, was sworn in during a virtual inauguration ceremony from Connecticut s Old State House.
Reese Naughton of Southington was the winner of the election and will be sworn in as the 2021 Connecticut Kid Governor. Houda and Reese will take the oath of office from Secretary of the State Denise Merrill.
AG warns about jury duty scam

HARTFORD, Conn Attorney General William Tong, Consumer Protection Commissioner Michelle Seagull and the Connecticut Judicial Branch issued an alert urging consumers to be wary of scam callers posing as Connecticut judicial marshals demanding immediate payment of fines for missing jury duty to avoid arrest. The Office of the Attorney General said if you receive such a call it is a scam.
The office said the Connecticut Judicial Branch will never call you about jury duty or missing jury duty, and it will never ask for payment.
