The Collinsville Restaurant Week will return. During the promotion you will be able to go to a handful of restaurants in Collinsville to taste what they have to offer. Lunch specials are priced at $12, with dinner specials priced at $30.

With the move to Phase 4 of the state’s COVID-19 mitigation plan, restaurants and other businesses were able to reopen with limited capacity. Jersey County was able to do so a little before the Metro East, so Aerie’s Resort in Grafton has completed the process of restarting most of its operations.

The Eagle Watchers Guide for the 2021 season gives a glimpse of the hot spots to find the birds, and we are seeing the birds return to the region, according to the head of the local tourism bureau. There are plenty of places to watch the birds throughout the Riverbend, and with occasional ice flows expected on the Mississippi, the chances of seeing the birds should vary day by day.
