Jon Tester, Sen. Steve Daines and Congressman Matt Rosendale hosted a roundtable discussion with nearly a dozen local veterans at Fort Harrison to hear veterans feedback about the VA Health Care System and other related topics. (KFDA) - The Amarillo VA Health Care System will host a Moderna COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Clovis. On Wednesday March 3, the VA Health Care System will be hosting a vaccination clinic at the VFW Post that is located at 2815 W. 7th Street in Clovis. Veterans COVID vaccine workshop in at American Legion in Fort Myers

A question and answer session for U.S. military veterans on COVID-19 vaccination and scheduling will be held at 3 p.m. March 10 at American Legion Post 38 on Jackson Street in Fort Myers. Post 38 and the Bay Pines VA will sponsor the session. The coming round of vaccinations will be for veterans from minority communities and veterans who are enrolled in the VA Health Care System.   Veterans will be told how to enroll in the VA Health System, answer questions about the available vaccines and find out upcoming vaccination dates.

(WBRC) - Starting Monday, the Birmingham VA tells us they should be able to give shots to 1,000 veterans 65 and older every week day. And now, they expect to see more veterans enroll with the VA to get their shot. Right now, there are about 70,000 veterans enrolled out of a potential 200,000 in the area. Up until now, the Birmingham VA Health Care System has been able to vaccinate up to 300 veterans over 65 with the Pfizer vaccine.
