With January behind us and predictions for 2021 trends made we asked our Parking Network Business Members what they were prioritizing in the year ahead. Their plans, ambitions, and optimistic outlook were a welcome tonic to the doom and gloom of coronavirus and gave us a much-needed glimmer of hope that the parking industry is set to bounce back, and soon. February’s headlines also gave us reason to be optimistic with companies preparing for Covid-recovery and adapting their operations to meet new trends and demands.
Madison seeks to improve computer access to all residents despite COVID-19 restrictions
For years, the Madison Public Library System’s mission has been to provide equitable access to valuable community services, but with the COVID-19 pandemic leading to a 2.1% cut in their operating budget, staff and city officials have had to find new ways to provide services under a restricted budget.
The Madison Public Library will experience a handful of changes, effective Jan. 19, due to this 2.1% cut in the 2021 Operating Budget.
According to Digital Services and Marketing Manager, Tana Elias, the budget proposals prioritized equitable internet and computer access for all community members.
