The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles is reminding Texans that they have until April 14 to ensure their vehicles are registered.
According to the department, the temporary waiver granting the suspension of on-time registration renewal ends on April 14, 2021, which means you must renew your vehicle’s registration on or before April 14.
According to the department, law enforcement may begin issuing citations to motorists operating a vehicle without a current registration sticker or current registration receipt and there is no grace period after the deadline.

I swear - for everybody trying to make an honest dollar, there s at least 3 people trying to scam said person out of that dollar! The latest example is coming to us via the internet. No surprise there, millions of con-artists are fleecing tons of gullible people out of their hard earned money as you read this!
According to American Press, now you have to watch your digital wallet when you try to register your vehicle in the state of Louisiana. The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) is warning residents to be on the lookout for third-party websites who claim to facilitate your registration. The official statement the OMV released on Monday says that these websites are not affiliated with any state government agency and are owned by for-profit companies.

It s time to get those registration stickers updated fellow Texans. Texas Governor Greg Abbott s waiver of different vehicle title and registration requirements will expire on Wednesday, April 14th. The temporary waiver was put into place in March of 2020 to cut down on foot traffic and risk exposing people to coronavirus.
And while April 14th seems far away right now, the last thing the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles wants is millions and millions of Texans waiting until April 13th to take care of their vehicle registration.
